Business Travel News Issue 33

Queues are
probably the most frustrating aspect of air travel in the current climate you queue for security checks, queue for passport control and queue for baggage. But there is one queue that you can choose to avoid check-in, at the airport.

From 1st June only electronic tickets will be accepted by airlines following IATA's decision to go paper free throughout the world. With everything becoming electronic, soon you will have no choice but to check-in online and with airlines charging more to check-in at the airport, why wait?

TMG Corporate offer online check-in services through our website www.tmgcorporate.com. Here you can check-in for your flight from anywhere at the touch of a button. Checking in online is exactly the same as if you were at the airport but much quicker as you don't have to get there hours before just to queue. All you require is your booking reference number before proceeding to print out your boarding pass. Once at the airport you can proceed immediately through security to the departure lounge or boarding gate.

Airports now have dedicated bag drop facilities, so don't feel that you cannot check-in online if you have hold baggage. If you do not have access to a printer then you can use the many self service kiosks at the airport.

Having all things electronic will save you time in the long run and help towards the smooth running of your journey. Online check-in facilities are updated all of the time to meet with travellers requirements. So is there still any need for you to be checking in at the airport? Go on give it a go today!

For more information about online check-in please do not hesitate in contacting your TMG Account Team.
