Park Inn united
Park Inn Old Trafford will open in 2010 and will be the second for the chain in Manchester. The 11 storey hotel will feature 226 guest bedrooms, restaurant and bar, meeting facilities and gym. Located close to the Trafford Park industrial area with more than 1,400 companies, this hotel will certainly be very well used. It is difficult finding a room in this busy area especially when the local football team are playing at home so more hotels would be welcome even though you will have to wait a while!

Eos down and out
All business class airline, Eos, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on 27 April and ceased its daily Stansted to New York service immediately. In which case where will this leave Silverjet… Another airline who has had to cancel its schedule following cash flow problems is South African carrier Nationwide. On 29 April they announced they too have ceased all flight operations.
